I have just purchased a Smart Controller for my Mavic 2 but cannot work out how to format a micro SD card in the controller. Can anyone help me? I have downloaded and read through the SC manual but was not able to find anything on formatting a SD card. 4K videos (and any size greater than HD resolution) are only downloaded to the smart controller at HD resolution. So if you want to shoot and save more 4K videos than available in the 8G of drone storage (about 10 minutes of video), you need a card in the drone.
Hi, I’m a new Mavic 2 Pro owner and I can’t get my footage to save on to my SD card (using the Smart Controller). Photos save directly to the SD card but footage does not. When I enter settings in film mode, “Save to SD card” just says N/A and I can’t select that option.
I flew my M2P at last night's sunset; did not have the card properly inserted, so the SD card has no images, although all are in the smart controller. The controller did not alert me until late in the flight, and asked something like "no SD card, do you want to save internally".
